In this article, we present one of the many relocations we have carried out recently. The plan involved transporting from Spain to Poland, and our task was to transport 2 huge injection molding machines across half of Europe:

1. Engel Duo 1700T (waga około 85t)
2. Engel Duo 900T (waga około 50t)

Two months earlier, we prepared a project in our office with the client to work out convenient conditions for both parties. After acceptance, our engineers left two weeks before the scheduled loading date to prepare the machines for transport:

  • Disassemble the machines into a closing and injection circuit
  • Disconnect peripheral devices
  • Remove the housing

The transport of the machines took place on two oversize vehicles and 6 trucks according to the previously agreed machine loading plan. In the second week, we began sorting the injection molding machine elements. Two cranes were used for loading: 90t and 200t.

The assumption of the plan was that the vehicles would arrive in Poland within a week. This is necessary to prepare the hall and place each injection molding machine in a designated area.
